From time to time, we update your Facilitator’s Guide with new manual pages. Updates may include new information and corrections of identified typos. As an Alliance Certified Trainer, it is your responsibility to print these updated pages, replace the outdated ones in your guide, and ensure you always have the most up-to-date materials and information. Below is the link to the latest updates for the 2024 Manual.

Alliance Certified Trainers are required to consistently utilize the most recent versions of the PowerPoints, Participant Packets, and Manuals. Please ensure that your materials are current and up-to-date!

Each of the four Master Trainers from the National Training Team conducted individual workshops to demonstrate how they would prepare to teach specific audiences and courses from the training.  The materials from the main discussion group — and from all four workshops are available below:

February 17, 2021 Workshop
The Alliance’s National Training Team, led by Maureen Hollocker, held a Technical Assistance Workshop for the full ACT Network. The training team highlighted the new materials and updates to the Trainer Support Site (TSS), demonstrated how to adapt activities such as the “Circle of Affirmation” for virtual training and discussed how to produce a training on Zoom.

December 16, 2020 Workshop
The Alliance’s National Training Team, led by Maureen Hollocker, hosted an open discussion about strategies and tips for training in a virtual environment.  During the call we conducted an activity to demonstrate how we acknowledge indigenous lands in order to inspire ongoing action and relationship.
October 22, 2020 Workshop
The Alliance’s National Training Team, led by Maureen Hollocker, discussed the challenges and opportunities of virtual training. They led participating Certified Trainers through a new INT PowerPoint presentation, adapted for virtual training audiences, and also shared new PowerPoint slides for additional popular activities from other courses in the curriculum.
